Enter Natural Deep Eutectic Solvents (NADES): non-toxic, green, and surprisingly effective. Researchers tested five different NADES against conventional solvents like 70% ethanol, methanol, and water, using ultrasound to shake loose the bioactive compounds from both chicory herb and root.
