Nature keeps surprising us. Eleutherine bulbosa, a plant long used in traditional medicine, is stepping into the spotlight as a raw material for herbal pharmaceuticals. But extracting its valuable polyphenols used to rely on harsh solvents. Now, scientists have swapped them for a green alternative: a natural deep eutectic solvent (NADES) made from choline chloride and sorbitol—two cheap, safe, and biodegradable compounds.
